The Slovenian theatrical dance performance "BLUFF", produced by Flota Institute from Murska Sobota and co-produced with the Dance Theatre Ljubljana, was selected in a call for tenders from among 220 artists from all over the world to participate. During the Vienna Design Week, two Slovenian group exhibitions will be held. The first exhibition, titled "VODA - WATER" covers designs inspired by water. It features designs by Softbaroque, Tanja Pak, Lara Bohinc, Hana Tavčar, Darja Malešič, David Tavčar, Rok Oblak, Nika Zupanc, Izadora Verlič, Prapra, Pjorkkala, Raketa, Goat Story and Kolpasan. The second exhibition "Crafting Futures" deals with the current topic of connecting modern design production with the rich heritage of handicrafts. It features designs by Rok Oblak, Luka Pleskovič, Darja Maleščič, Maruša Mazej, Pjorkkala, Andraž Rudi Vrhovšek, Lucija Perko, Lara Baler, Boris Ouček, Nina Vastl Štefe, Luka Bernik and Črt Štrubelj. A whole day opening programe and a round table will be held on Saturday, 21. of September. Since 2022, many artworks have been created by multiple artists, including Maja Osojnik. "Touch Nature" is a travelling exhibition of Bundesministerium für europäische und internationale Angelegenheiten. "Family Therapy - Odrešitev za začetnike" by director Sonja Prosenc is an international coproduction, supported by Slovenian Film Centre, Viba Film Studio, Italian Ministry of Culture and Friuli-Venezia Giulia Film Comission, and Creative Europe programme. "Around The Paths of Peace: In Search of Traces of War 1915-118" is an event about connections between trenches still visible in the territory between Switzerland and Adriatic Sea. The debate with historians from Austria and Hungary and a representative of Italy will include two Slovenian speakers, Maša Klavora from Walk of Peace in the Soča Region Foundation, and Martin Šolar from Kobarid Museum. Austrian historian Peter Schubert, PhD, will also be presenting two of his books. The 10th Days of Slovenian Film in Belgrade will present a number of contemporary Slovenian films and classics. Several directors and actors will also be in attendance. This year's Days will open with two photography exhibits: one documenting the previous Days and the other showcasing the work of photographer Irena Herak, who documented the Days in 2016. A notable event is also the meeting of students of Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana and students of Belgrade's Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
The event is supported by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Belgrade and organised by Slovenian Film Centre, Slovene Society Slava Beograd, Faculty of Philology Belgrade and Yugoslav Film Archive.
