Strup Productions is an independent film and multimedia production company established in 2004 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Their projects include award-winning films, animations and interactive video installations.


Productions and awards

In 2004, Strup Productions produced Dražen Štader's documentary Rudi Omota: A Skipped Chapter of Slovene Cinematography, which received an award at the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož. In 2006, it produced Nejc Saje's animation Dvorišče (Courtyard), which received an award for best animation at the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož.

Strup co-produced the sci-fi short film Aptosis, produced by Blade Production House, directed by Tomaž Gorkič, who received the Vesna Award for Best Short Film in 2017. Nejc Saje received the 2018 Iris Award for Best Cinematography, bestowed by the Slovene Association of Cinematographers, for his work on the film.
