Bara's choreographic debut was Bela ('White') in 1999, followed by five performances including Razobraz ('Gargoyle'), Brezdno ('Abyss'), Incisio Rubida and Memoari in 2006. Borut Bučinel's productions include Zimska pravljica (Winter Tale') in 2004, Cuda co potna gospodova in 2005 and most recently the performance piece Lunatik (“Lunatic”) in 2007. Kud Samosvoj produces and co-produces some of the productions by the groups Melodrom, Katalena and Miusow. The artists usually work together: Melodrom has produced the music for performances and Borut Bučinel has created the light design and stage sets for several Bara's performances. Their work has been presented in Italy, Austria, Germany, Armenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. KUD Samosvoj also produces new productions by young authors, organises dance, theatre and vocal workshops, residencies and site-specific projects.
