In addition to these two tasks, CMEPIUS pursues national programmes of mobility (bilateral and multilateral scholarships of the Republic of Slovenia and scholarships for Slovenes living abroad) and activities of some other European programmes in the area of education and training, including Erasmus Mundus, Grundtvig, the e-Learning/e-Twinning National Support Centre, the Netd@ys initiative and the European Language Label initiative and until end of 2010 co-managed the EEA and Norway Grants. Within the activities of the European Research Area (ERA) the Centre also acts as a Bridgehead Organisation of the ERA - MORE Mobility Centre.
