The 28th edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival took place in mid-august. There were over 50 films in the competition programme, spanning from feature, documentaries, animated and short films. We spoke with two Slovenian directors whose films were in the competition programme. Dominik Mencej whose feature film debut Riders (Jezdeca) premiered at this year’s edition of the Festival, and Matjaž Ivanišin whose short film That’s How the Summer Ended (Tako se je končalo poletje) continues its successful Festival run. We talked to them about their films and about the process they underwent while making them.
