The Motovun Film Festival is primarily dedicated to the films from small cinematographies and independent productions; films that excel with their innovative approach, ideas and intense stories; films that have a hard time fighting their way to theaters and wide audiences under the conditions of an unequal market competition.

At the Festival, the Slovenian short film titled ‘Around the corner’ by the director Martin Turk will also be presented.
About the film:
Seeing that his peer Timi is being bullied, 12-year-old Nejc decides to become his friend. Turk’s film Every day is not the same was premiered in the 15 Days of Authors program in Cannes, and Afternoon Well Spent in Dresden, Sarajevo, Toronto (TIFF Kids), Oberhausen, etc. His first feature film , Feed Me with Your Words , was shown in São Paulo, Turin , New York and elsewhere.
