The Summer Visual Arts Workshops organised by the Public Fund for Cultural Activities are aimed at an adult population (participants should be at least 18 years old) and are intended for 8-12 participants. The workshops offered are varied and include Introduction to the Skills of Drawing in Ljubljana, a Wood Sculpture Workshop in Šmartno ob Paki, a Stone Sculpture Workshop at Lesno Brdo in Vrhnika, and a Ceramics Workshop in Ljubljana.

In additional the Brda Fine Arts Workshop is organised annually in Goriška Brda, a picturesque fortified medieval village built on the remains of the old Roman encampment. The workshop is led by academic painters and focuses on selected themes, eg Realism in the surface or Space structures. In 2004 JSKD's partners and co-organisers for this event included the local municipality and the wine festival organisers Goriška Brda Wine Cellars and INFOS. In that year workshop participants interpreted the site specifics and through multiplication of images as sequences eventually designed 1,000 bottle stickers which were subsequently presented at the Wine Festival in Ljubljana.
