Uho; oko:, the Institute for Art and Technology was founded by the artist Marko Ornik and consists of a team of Maribor based individuals of various artistic profiles. Established in 2009, the institute has either collaborated on or independently produced a number of art projects and events dealing with music, computer art, audiovisual installations and contemporary visual arts.

The institute and its members have collaborated with the International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Etnika International World Music Festival, KIBLIX Festival, Izzven Jazz Festival, and the Mariboring concert series.

The year 2012 saw the formation of the Centralna postaja, a performance venue, exhibition space and research lab located in the old town centre of Maribor. It has been Uho; oko:'s central production unit since then.
