The Slovenian Tourist Board or STB (STO in Slovenian), is an umbrella national tourist organisation, a professional organisation responsible for the concept, organisation and performance of activities that promote and market Slovene touristic activities, both in Slovenia and abroad. It unites all Slovene public and private tourist organisations with the aim of presenting Slovenia as a country with a clear identity.

The organisation had worked as Slovenian Tourist Board up to January 2013 when it has become a part of the SPIRIT Slovenia, a new Slovenian Public Agency for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Development, Investment and Tourism. In August 2015 the Slovenian Tourist Board was reestablished as an independent unit.


The Slovenian Tourist Board operates through its network of representative offices abroad (Munich, Milano, Vienna, London, Tokyo) and participates in several international fairs. It manages also the Slovenia.info website.
