Founded in 1997 by Klemen Ramovš, the Ars Ramovš Institute for Art, Marketing, Promotion and Investment organises the Seviqc Brežice Festival, an internationally acclaimed early music festival which features eminent musicians and ensembles. Since 1982 the festival (firstly called Brežice Festival) has developed into an eminent European music event, with a significant educational dimension (working with music academies) and international scope (partner countries since 2002 have included: Italy, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, France, Italy, and Spain).

The concerts take place at numerous castles, in churches or museums, promoting Slovene cultural heritage. Ars Ramovš has succeeded to draw funding from both national and municipal funds as well as from numerous sponsors and donators.
