The Ljubljana-based film production company Nosorogi was established in 2008 by a group of film graduates as a vehicle for the production of their first films. From 2012, it is led by Marina Gumzi, who re-envisioned the company as a boutique label for original, visually-driven films of emerging authors. A lot of attention is given to assure them international visibility by way of establishing and fostering collaborations with international partners.

By 2015, Nosorogi produced five short and mid-length documentaries, among them Critical Generation (co-produced with RTV SLovenia, directed by Lara Simona Taufer and Darko Sinko, 2010); Morra (by Matjaž Ivanišin, 2012); and Little Houses (by Darko Sinko and Matjaž Ivanišin, 2014).
