Viva, the Zagorje Youth Wind Orchestra, was founded in 1992 at Zagorje Music School in order to promote young talents. The world-famous virtuoso flute player James Galway paid a visit to the orchestra in 1996. The orchestra has performed in Hartberg, Graz, Tieschen, Voelkermarkt (Austria); Livorno, Riva del Garda, Azzano Deccimo (Italy); Ostrava (Czech Republic); Larvik (Norway); and Chicago (USA). The orchestra has successfully presented Slovene musical culture around the world with performances which include Slovene musical works. In Chicago, Viva played with two well-known Slovene soloists: clarinettist, member of the [[Slovene Clarinet Sextet]] and [[Ariart Woodwind Quintet]], and teacher at the [[Zagorje Music School]], [[Jože Kotar]] and flautist and member of the [[MD7 Contemporary Music Ensemble]], [[Matej Zupan]].
