The Slovene Society of Aesthetics is a member of International Association for Aesthetics (IAA/AIE) and organises regular international colloquia - past events include ''Hegemony in Art and Culture'' (2002), ''Twenty Years After: The Artistic Avant-Garde Today'' (2003), ''Art and Its Strategies: Between Aesthetics and Politics'' (2004), and ''Location of Space: The Place of Art'' (2005). The Society has also organised thematic Spring colloquia for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including ''Aesthetics and Ethics'' (2002), ''The Borders of Art'' (2003), ''Pleasure'' (2005) and ''Art Worlds'' (2007). In 2013 it introduced the topic ''Aesthetics and Space'' and the colloquium took place at the [[Cultural Centre of European Space Technologies (KSEVT)]] in Vitanje.
