The origins of [[Radlje ob Dravi Public Library]] date back to 1950. After some changes of name and founders, the library became an autonomous institution in 1994 and now runs branches in Muta, Vuzenica, Podvelka and Ribnica na Pohorju, plus lending units at Remšnik and Vuhred. Housed in a 653 square metre building, the library contains a collection of 46,500 items and has more than 3,000 registered readers. It incorporates a reference library, a periodicals reading room with 100 titles, a local information department, a youth department and a children’s corner. Many workshops, exhibitions, lectures, screenings and writing and computer skills courses are organised here throughout the year.
