The young people’s information centre at ŠKUC (see [[ŠKUC Association]]) was established in 1998. Its main task is to offer information about culture, finding work, formal education and stipends, youth tourism, informal education and training, voluntary work, development of youth work, activism, Slovenia in an international context, help in times of distress, active holidays, and youth organisations and societies. The centre seeks to make young people aware that they have the right to be informed. Its main task is to offer information about culture, work opportunities, formal and informal education, voluntary work, activism, and tourism within the borders of Slovenia and beyond. It provides databases of active holiday destinations and itineraries as well as leisure and social activities. The centre seeks to raise awareness in young people of their right to be informed.
