The NUK Music Collection offers researchers and students the possibility to listen to recordings of Slovene musical works. It also organises exhibitions and cooperates in the development of the Digital Library of Slovenia.
Music material
The collection compiles publications which represent a voluminous body of Slovene musical heritage, such as the Opus musicum of Iacobus Gallus, the archive of the Ljubljana Philharmonische Gesellschaft from 1794 to 1919, and 16th century Protestant song books in Slovenian language. It stores the works of many Slovene composers as well as a transcript of Beethoven's 6th Symphony with the composer's own corrigenda.
