Hiše Awards 09 winners were House Twisted in Kyoto and Villa Röling on the outskirts of Amsterdam. The project House Twisted by Kentaro Takeguchi and Asako Yamamoto – Alphaville studio, Japan, won Hiše Award 09 for Innovative Excellence in Private Housing. Villa Röling by Architectenbureau Paul de Ruiter, Netherlands, won Hiše Award 09 for Sustainable Excellence in Private Housing.
