The [[Ivan Rakovec Institute of Palaeontology]] was founded in [[established::1949]] and named after [[Ivan Rakovec]] (1899–1985), a Slovene geologist and palaeontologist. The Ivan Rakovec Institute of Palaeontology was founded in 1949 and named after Ivan Rakovec (1899–1985), a Slovene geologist and palaeontologist.
