The group Uš ('The Louse') was established in 1991 in Ljubljana by Andrej Žibert, Matevž Gregorič and Renata Kalemba. They have co-operated with several directors, visual artists, stage set designers, and also with other ensembles (including Jože Pengov Puppet Theatre, Maribor Puppet Theatre and Corn Seed Association, K Zrnovič Puppet Theatre). Their performances are aimed mainly at children. The ensemble tours Slovenia and presents productions at various international festivals including events in Croatia, Austria, Italy, Serbia and Switzerland. Uš Puppet Theatre is active in the framework of the Ljubljana Association of Puppeteers.
