In 1999 the Koper Music School provided music education for secondary schools. When art secondary schools were introduced in 2003, the cooperation resulted in a combined musical education for secondary schools. Approximately 23 instructors from the Koper Music School give lessons in music education within the secondary school programme of the Koper Grammar School - Ginnasio Capodistria. Students of the School particpate in the regional and national musical competitions (Slovene Young Musicians Competition).
