Published since 2000 by the Institute for Architecture and Space at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana, the magazine AR Architecture, Research is a biannual publication containing scientific papers, reviews of scientific research activities taking place at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, and news about the academic staff participation at professional and scientific conferences. Papers are published in Slovenian, with their summaries in English. The back issues are available also on the website.

The second yearly number presents a thematic issue, dedicated to a particular topic, such as Architectural graphics (2001), Workshops (2002), Detail (2004), Renovation (2005), and Spatial Design (2008). Beginnings was the subject of the thematic issue in 2009, featuring texts from a younger generation of architects, especially reviews from doctoral students.
