The aim of the festival is to reflect the position of women in the society, rpesent their artistic and cultural endeavours, promtoe equality and feministic standpoints. Besides Cmak, it also takes place at the Idrija film thater and a few other venues in the Cerkljansko region.
Programme
The programme is comprise dof exhibitions (presenting artists like the photographer Nada Žgank), evening talks with prominent females, story telling for grown ups, film screenings (with works like Kot podgane, ki zapuščajo potapljajočo se ladjo« by Vike Kirchenbauer and »neki neki«, by Céline Sciamma) and concerts.
Some of the invite bands are ?Alos (Italija), R.Y.F. (IT), Sequenzsiaz (DE), Aivery (AT) and Le Toy (AT). The music is very much, though not exclusively, rock and punk oriented.
