The VideoLectures.Net international web portal (on-line since 2002) promotes science, exchanges ideas and fosters knowledge sharing by providing high quality didactic contents not only to a scientific community but also to a general public.

It includes mainly the lectures from information and communication technologies in particular fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, semantic web and data and text mining but is expanding towards visual arts, humanities, social studies and law as well.

The portal is becoming a major reference video training material repository and dissemination channel for academic researchers all around the world. Most of its content is released under the Creative Commons licence.
