Narodni dom's activities in the field of dance is focused primarily on folkloric and ethnic dance, with numerous international performances being presented each year within the programmes of the Lent Festival and the Folkart International Folklore Festival, Maribor.
Narodni dom is a member of the Association of Slovene Festivals (SloFA) and the European Festivals Association (EFA).
Venues
The auditorium of Narodni dom Maribor hosts a wide range of performing arts activities, including theatre, dance and music (traditional, electronic, chamber and dance music). Other venues run by Narodni dom are Union hall (ex-cinema hall) in the city centre and the medieval Water Tower on the Drava riverbank, which is under construction. See also Lent Festival Stages
