The Slovene Association of Journalists collaborates closely with the Union of Slovene Journalists in the joint management of the Journalists’ Ethics Council (Novinarsko častno razsodišče - NČR) and is also currently working with the Union of Slovene Journalists to establish a new Slovene Journalism Centre.
The Association confers the Consortium Veritatis Journalist Award for professional journalism and, jointly with Nova revija, the Jurčič Award.
International cooperation
The Association is a full member of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) and International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). It runs the web newspaper E-novinar ('E-journalist').
