The homestead of Ciril Kosmač, famous novelist, dramaturgist, translator, screenwriter and an author of the popular novels Tantadruj, The Ballad on Trumpet and A Cloud, was transformed into a museum complex. Homestead, located in the idyllic village Slap ob Idrijci, is run by Tolmin Museum and is available to visit with an beforehand announcement. Each Sunday there is a guided tour of the memorial museum and its collections on the writer most known for his social realistic and folk thematics. Year 2010 is devoted to Ciril Kosmač, several theatre and literature events throughout the year take place.

The homestead is one of the stops on the Kosmač School Trail named aimed at school children and developed as a sightseeing tour at the Dušan Munih primary school from Most na Soči. The learning path and the homestead were included in the international project Genius Loci Network at Modern Visual Art.
