To date around 117 dancers have participated in the competition, along with juries made up of 23 ballet masters from five European countries. The 7th competition of 2005 featured the participation of 46 dancers from Nova Gorica, Divača, Ajdovščina, Postojna, Jesenice, Ljubljana, Litija, Celje and Maribor and a jury which included Professor Michael Birkmeyer from Festspielhaus in St Pöltn, Austria and Professor Dietmar Seyffert, a choreographer and opera director from Berlin. The competition is accompanied by panel discussions relating to ballet themes.
TEMSIG is a member of the network European Union of Music Competition for Youth - EMCY.
