The Confucius Institute is aimed at students, citizens, and companies interested in Chinese language and culture or business opportunities. Courses in Chinese language and business culture are organised in order to promote and establish economic and business exchange between Slovene and Chinese companies.
The institute also conducts research; a research on the business of Slovene companies in China was recently finished. The first workshop on "China as a Business Opportunity" was organised in Spring 2011.
Language and culture
Intense cooperation with the Yuan Sinological Society and the Department of Asian and African Studies at the Faculty of Arts was established in order to promote ties with Chinese language and culture. Activities for students, translators, or professors include courses, student exchanges, and excursions.
The Confucius Institute offers free workshops and seminars on Chinese culture and language for high schools, primary schools, and daycare centres.
