Dražen Štader's first film was In Transit (2000), which was awarded as the best student film at the Festival of Slovenian Film, followed by Žile, Sweet Life (2001), Orgasmus (2002) and the documentary film Rudi Omota: The Overlooked Chapter of Slovene Cinematography (2004). At the New York Independent Film Festival his documentary Honeymoon won the award for best adult-themed documentary. Honeymoon is the first part of a trilogy that deals with modern Japanese society through a prism of sexploitation. It focuses on a live TV sex station named Paradise TV that pushes the boundaries of reality television on a daily basis. Dražen Štader makes also music video clips and commercials. He usually edits his own films.
