Launched in [[established::1994]], [[Viri Journal]] [Sources] - subtitled Material for the Material Culture of Slovenes - is published every two years by the [[National Museum of Slovenia]]. It presents the results of research into the material culture of various historical periods in Slovenia, with the aim of ensuring that material remains are accorded equal value as a historical source to the written word.
