Part of Ribnica Municipality's Mikl House Public Institute, Mikl House Library is the municipal library for Ribnica.

The library in Ribnica was founded in 1946 but only acquired proper premises in 1991 within the restored Mikl House. Today the 307 square-metre library houses a collection of around 57,500 items and has more than 3,700 registered readers. The library has an 18-seat reading room and runs two branches in Sodražica and Loški potok respectively. Mikl House Library, Ribnica cooperates closely with the Mikl House Gallery, organising concerts, literary evenings, exhibitions, lectures, and also events for children.
