Collection
The gallery houses over 800 works, a representative cross-section of Jakac's work as a young artist. The second floor presents works from Jakac's numerous travels to America, France, Norway, Italy, England, Germany, and other countries. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth in 1999 the museum prepared a selection of his works relating to the scenery of Dolenjska and its people. This exhibition is now installed on the ground and first floors. An educational art collection comprising numerous collected works by well-known Slovene artists is also exhibited on the third floor, forming a study collection of all genres of the visual arts.
