The Slovene Reading Association was established in 1995 with the motto "to promote reading is to promote knowledge and more meaningful life". By way of organising events, e.g. round tables, discussions, lectures, they strive to raise awareness of the importance of reading, as well as provide support and training to individuals involved in teaching and research of reading.
