The heavy metal international music festival [[MetalDays]] has been held annually from [[established::2013]]. The festival that takes place at Sotočje at Tolmin, in the beautiful surroundings of the Alps, is the successor of the [[Metalcamp]], one of the central metal events in this part of Europe, which attracted a massive international audience of thousands of fans from Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the Mediterranean countries and Slovenia since 2004.

As the audience is mostly international, MetalDays is logistically supported by MetalHoliday who plan and organize coach trips to the festivals MetalDays (and [[Punk Rock Holiday]] – another summer festival held at that same location) from about ten European countries and around fifty cities.
