Exhibitions
One of the collections is dedicated to the life and work of Tomaž Godec himself, while another focuses on a major historical event which took place at the house in 1939 - the drawing up of the constitution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia.
Another collection is dedicated to the Soča and Alpine Fronts 1915–1917, illustrating the two First World War front lines which ran through the area. Exhibits include over 1,100 objects and documents which in a unique way portray the strategic course of the battles and the hardships of the soldiers who participated in them.
Under the auspices of the Technical Museum of Slovenia, a tannery owned and run by Tomaž Godec prior to the Second World War has been reconstructed in the museum grounds. Today it is the only tannery museum in Slovenia which illustrates traditional methods of tanning.
The museum also organises occasional exhibitions, i.e. in 2009 exhibition on Customs and myths in Bohinj region.
