It 2008, the Oton Župančič Library joined forces with the Bežigrad Library, Slovanska Library, Prežihov Voranc Library, Šiška Library and Jože Mazovec Library to become the biggest public library in Slovenia, now known as the Municipal Library of Ljubljana.
