The 6th edition in 2009 presented 14 mostly young video artists. In 2008, the festival featured among others also the video ''A Listening Human'' by [[Miha Vipotnik]], one of the three Slovene video art pioneers. In 2018 the whole festival was dedicated to Vipotnik's oeuvre and a year before, [[Davorin Marc|Davorin Marc's]] work was in focus. The 2005 edition featured video works of Slovene established sculptors of different generations ([[Mirsad Begić]], [[Jakov Brdar]], [[Mojca Smerdu]], [[Damijan Kracina]], [[Primož Pugelj]], and [[Urša Toman - Drinovec]]).

The Videofestival Natures has been organised by Bežigrajska galerija since 2002. Its programme is based on an open international call while featuring also oeuvre of important Slovene video artists. The festival's broad scope is dedicated to video works that include images of nature or derive from things found in nature, and address the nature of human existence and cohabitation in time. The screened videos have been included in the gallery's collection that by today comprises over 700 works. The 2020 editions was screened online.


Highlights of previous editions

The 6th edition in 2009 presented 14 mostly young video artists. In 2008, the festival featured among others also the video A Listening Human by Miha Vipotnik, one of the three Slovene video art pioneers. In 2018 the whole festival was dedicated to Vipotnik's oeuvre and a year before, Davorin Marc's work was in focus. The 2005 edition featured video works of Slovene established sculptors of different generations (Mirsad Begić, Jakov Brdar, Mojca Smerdu, Damijan Kracina, Primož Pugelj, and Urša Toman - Drinovec).
