Hard core punk rock band [[Golliwog]] was established in Ribnica, South Eastern Slovenia, in 1998. Since then they have released three DIY recordings: Golliwog s/t (1999), Shake rattle and rock (2000) and Gandhi Fans Against Gun Defence (2001), with a new CD on the way. They are also featured on compilations and have a split cassette with Serbian band No Comply and Croatian record company La Bean. Golliwog have performed both in Slovenia and abroad. They consider themselves anti-everything corporate, and their texts ironically reflect their anti-mainstream and anti-corporation attitudes. The band consists of Saša: vocals, guitar and trumpet, Jure: drums, Vid: guitar, and Matej: bass and vocals. | Hard core punk rock band [[Golliwog]] was established in Ribnica, South Eastern Slovenia, in 1998.
