The Slovene Ethnographic Museum Library, established in 1923 together with the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, houses over 25,000 units of Slovene and foreign monographs and periodicals from the fields of ethnology, anthropology, museology, conservation and restoration and exchanges books with more than 200 domestic and international libraries. The library collection is nevertheless older, for it was transferred from Provincial Museum of Carniola at the establishment, and is accessible on COBISS - Slovene Virtual Library.
