It includes works by Slovene impressionist painters from the beginning of the 20th century, oil paintings by Vladimir Lamut, graphic art works by Božidar Jakac, works by Slovene artists from the period between the two wars and some post-war graphics works. It also comprises a number of works by contemporary artists from South Eastern Slovenia.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Krka pharmaceutics company in 2004 the selection of the Krka Art Collection was presented in the National Gallery of Slovenia.
