The Summer School is visited by students and professors from University of Trieste, Unviersity of Ljubljana, Univeristy of Primorska, University of Udine, University of Klagenfurt. The School takes place in Bovec, the last two weeks in August. Its programme consisits of lectures, presentations, language courses(Slovenian, Italian, German, Croatian, and Furlan), field trips, excurisons and visits to museums, also the famous Kobarid Museum.
Each year there the school board choses a certain main topic. In the previous years, this was Kruh in Vino ('Bread and Wine'), in 2010 the topic is Social Diversity in the Region: Cultural, Linguistic, Social and Economic Aspects.
