In 2003 he received a Boomerang Award for best newcomer of the year, and for the second year in a row was selected as one of the 10 finalists for the Radio France International Electronic Music Award. Since that time he has become one of the most active Slovene live acts, performing at such prominent festivals as Club Transmediale, FutureSonic, ISEA, La Batie, Nuit Blanche and Exit, either as a solo artist or as part of the multimedia project Signal-Sever. Octex also plays regularly at Chilli Space events and at [[Klub K4]] in Ljubljana. It has produced a track for the compilation ''Dunkelplatte'' on Swiss label STHLM Audio and has re-mixed the [[Laibach]] track ''Smrt za smrt''. |
