Eight Slovene designers (from OLoOP Design, Bevk Perović Arhitekti, AKSL Arhitekti, AlmiraSadar, BelaBela, Pleksimanija, Studio Drevo and Janez Suhadolc) presented at Common Roots - Design map of Central Europe exhibition, and Cvetka Požar from Museum of Architecture and Design, Ljubljana, as workshops and seminars participant, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Tel Aviv
In 2010 the AKSL Arhitekti studio was short-listed for the Contractworld Award with the project Restaurant Valvas'or at Europe's biggest competition for interior design. The Rožmarin Restaurant, Wine Bar and Cafeteria in Maribor was nominated for the Plečnik Medal 2008. Selected restaurant interiors were nominated for the Interior of the year award at the Month of Design – Cubo in 2004, Rožmarin in 2007, and Valvas'or in 2008.
