Svarog - Club for Independent Film is a club established in Piran-Pirano in 2004 with the aim of stimulating film creativity among young people. Its main task is the production of independent films. Svarog also organises workshops and others film related events. Among the films that it produced are Martin Marzidovšek's first short film Der Bericht [The Report] (2004), which was shot in Heidelberg and later presented in Germany, Hungary and Slovenia, (s)prehod (2006) and In the Shadow, both by Martin Marzidovšek and Matej Vatovec.
