Film Screening & Discussion. "Transgender Life in Slovenia"

Screening of the 2016 documentary film Transgender Life in Slovenia, directed by Michelle Emson. Transgender Life in Slovenia, which won the Audience Award for Best Film at the 2016 Ljubljana International LGBT Film Festival, provides insight into the challenges that face transgender citizens of the Republic of Slovenia and offers a touching and engaging view into their daily lives and struggles.

A music concert by Slovenian Duo IKT
Monday, December 11, at 7:30pm at the Manhattan School of Music, New York
Along with playing something out of their original repertoire list, Janina Lorenci on saxophone and Lola Mlačnik on percussion will also present themselves as soloists in the orchestral rendition of John Williams' piece Escapades, featured in the critically acclaimed movie Catch Me If You Can, directed by S. Spielberg. Free entrance, more info and program notes will be available at the reception of the venue.
