The creation of a new festival dedicated to experimental and avant-garde audio-visual practices began in 2021, spurred by the need to acknowledge and celebrate groundbreaking AV creations within experimental environments. Rather than starting from scratch, this festival builds upon the foundations laid by numerous exceptional directors, videographers, and artists who have a rich history of experimentation in this field. The festival's aim is to showcase experiences and practices from around the globe, including international platforms, festivals, and programs dedicated to experimental work. It emphasizes both the past and the future, with the goal of uncovering curators, programs, films, videos, installations, and performances that transcend established and classical boundaries, exploring new avenues of expression and utilization of the medium.
