ACH Art Collection
In 2002, as part of the programme of activities celebrating the Autocommerce's 50th anniversary, the entire collection was for the first time put on public display in co-operation with the National Gallery of Slovenia. The exhibition, entitled Duh v času ('The Spirit in Time'), was designed by Dr Andrej Smrekar and presented around 100 works, including paintings by Fortunat Bergant, Sternen, Jakopič, Grohar, Jama, Gaspari, Kregar, Mušič and Stupica. The collection is presented at the company's website.
The most valuable from among over 400 paintings adorn the walls of the company's business premises, while in 2003 the ACH Gallery was opened at Baragova ulica 5 in Ljubljana. The first exhibition organised there covered the works of the outstanding impressionist painter Matej Sternen, whose his 23 artistic works represent the largest group within the ACH Art Collection. In October 2004, on the occasion of the visit of the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Fine Arts (ICFA), an exhibition of landscapes was launched, entitled V znamenju štimunge. Since that time an exhibition entitled Obraz - okno duše ('Face - Window of the Soul') has been organised, featuring a selection of portraits and studies from the ACH Art Collection.
