Karantanija Cinemas Ltd has been an official distributor for films produced by London United International Pictures (with Hollywood studios Universal, Paramount and Dream Works SKG) since 1993. As a video distributor, Karantanija Cinemas collaborates with the biggest independent studios, including Capitol, Lakeshore, Lions Gate, Signature, Syndicate, ICON, Nu Image, Gaumont, Seven Arts and Beyond. It has also distributed numerous Slovene films, including Ekspres ekspres, Outsider, Carmen, Stereotip, Porno Film, The Ode to Prešeren [Oda Prešernu], Idle Running [V leru], Bread and Milk [Kruh in mleko] and Spare Parts [Rezervni deli], produced by Vertigo/Emotionfilm film production company.

Karantanija Cinemas Ltd, together with its partners Video Top International (Croatia) and Taramount Film (Serbia/Montenegro) has successfully collaborated with more than 80 film studios, distributing Slovene films, European films and films of the former Yugoslav states - including both commercial and independent films - throughout Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania.
