Eye on Film Festival
Film programme
The presented films are of a very divers nature, going from archive pieces like Fellini's Amarcord (intended for the age group of 15 – 18 years) to a set of contemporary animated films and short films by students from Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT). The first edition, for example, had some more than 50 films, with the bigger part of them being European productions and only a small number – equalled by those from Asia and from South America – came from the United States. About a half of these short films, culled from the programmes of Anthropological Film Festival of Children and Youth in Ljubljana, KIKI festival, International Children’s Film Festival (HR) and Animateka International Animated Film Festival.
There is also a competitive section, in which the best film is chosen by the part of the audience aged between 6 and 12 years. The winner in 2015, for example, was the Italian-Grench co-production Il ragazzo invisibile by Gabriele Salvatores.
