In 2000 UMco started to publish and distribute the free film and popular culture magazine E-Premiera. A year later its publishing department was established, and by 2005 more than 50 books had been issued in the so-called Premiera Book Collection, which comprised theoretical works (Blue Premiera), more popular themes (Red Premiera), scripts (Green Premiera), special publications (Mini Premiera) and books on art disciplines other than film (White Premiera). In 2005 UMco launched Bukla, a magazine on new books and multimedia, which is also available free of charge at cultural venues.
